New owners Dave and Paula Hawkins welcome everyone to experience an authentic gym atmosphere. As a retired veteran, Dave and Paula find health and fitness are, overall, essential to a happy life. Thats why it is important to them to learn who each member is and what their goals are. Legends Pro Gym is a family, and they invite everyone from the health enthusiast, to competitors and Powerlifters, to that person trying to lose those last 10 pounds. Meet Our Loveland Fitness Trainers


With over 15 years of experience, Dave has a background in health and fitness as well as a certification in nutrition. His passion for fitness began through his love of sports and developed as he fought with his fellow brothers in the army. Since retiring from the military, his approach to fitness varies with age-appropriate programming as well as adapting to any bodily injuries that need to be taken into account. His overwhelming knowledge in strengthening the body has helped him gain almost 100 pounds in muscle strength over the past 10 years.  He enjoys helping and establishes long-term client interactions with the goal of integrating exercise and optimal wellness into the demands of daily life.

Katie actively trained and conditioned in MMA and Jiu Jitsu for 6 years participating in many tournaments/fights. For over 10 years she has coached Jiu Jitsu and MMA fighters as well as teaching self defense seminars for women. She then suffered a series of injuries that caused her to be pulled out of the sport. During 6 months of recovery Katie lost who she was, gained over 65lbs, and fell into a spiraling depression. With her experience with rehabilitation and working as a top trainer with cancer patients at RMCRI, Katie used her skills and education to rehabilitate herself and manage her chronic pain. Mind Body Connection has been a huge piece of her recovery and with the shift in her mindset, she has lost nearly 30lbs (continuing process) and is able to lift and train in boxing again. Katie is very dedicated to her clients making sure proper form and technique is top priority. She will do everything in her power to help you with your health goals, needs and wants (at any level) while teaching you to enjoy the process with a confident mindset.

Christi has spent most of her life in health and fitness teaching people how to eat, move and be healthy.

Christi is a highly sought-out professional backed by world leaders in the fields of corrective exercise, strength and conditioning, nutrition, and lifestyle management. Christi is a highly qualified personal trainer that helps you correct pain, imbalances, and compensations to improve strength, mobility, and movement. If you are going through pain or having movement limitations and you cannot perform the activities, you used to. Chances are I can help or point you in the direction you need to go.

As a high level CHEK Practitioner, P-DTR and FMA Strength she has a unique skillset to help you. As a high-level Holistic Coach with the CHEK Institute she will teach you education around food, restoration of your metabolism and self-regulation. She also utilizes energy work via a combination of Reiki and other energy modalities as necessary because sometimes that’s what is needed.

Christi Sullivan has integrated the science of strength training with the intuition of yoga in a class she calls Strength Yoga. Christi applies advanced teachings to bridge the gap between rehabilitation, yoga and strength and conditioning fields to help people get out of pain and improve function.

She is also an international presenter, teaching about this unique style of Strength Yoga that she created in Australia. She is bringing it around the world, from Canada to New Zealand, where this style is in high demand.

Christi also served in the Army Reserves between 1993-2000 as a Supply and Armory Specialist (92Y for the military 🙂 )

Christi had the honor to train Hollywood actress, AnnaSophia Robb, to prepare for her lead role on the film "Soul Surfer."

Sullivan has also trained two professional cyclists to attain first place in major races using these concepts, as well as several golf professionals out of back pain and back to excelling in their sport. Helping power lifters, Olympic lifters, cross fitters, runners, triathletes to PR. She has applied these techniques to not only professional athletes, but weekend warriors and stay-at-home moms, who are now living healthier and more functional lives.

Ashley has been practicing massage therapy since 2012 and specializes in modalities including deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, and myofacial release, as well as prenatal and lymphatic treatments. She believes massage therapy is a proactive way to support a healthy lifestyle.






Being a professional athlete, Jacob understands the importance of the body-mind awareness which is crucial to maintaining good posture and promoting a pain free lifestyle. He uses medium to deep pressure during his massages and specializes in Deep Tissue, Relaxation, Neuromuscular Therapy, Corrective/Sports and Cupping. Doing heart-centered work and having a client focused mentality is his goal to achieve balance and promote better posture.
